We are over the moon to receive a 3 Gold Stars Great Taste Award, 2014 for our Black Truffle and Honey Gelato. As one of only 153 out of 10,000 to be awarded the prestigious awards we are very proud of what we have achieved
We also won a 2 Star Award for our Lychee & Rose Sorbetto and a 1 Star Award for our Pear and Parmesan Sorbetto.
Paloma Faith came to Gelato Gusto to do a photo shoot for the Observer Food Monthly Magazine.
Photographer Alex Lake www.twoshortdays.com took some fantastic photos which were used on the front page of the Observer newspaper as well as the double page magazine spread.
Paloma signed lots of autographs before tucking into a range of different gelato flavours including Mascarpone and pear ripple which she took a fancy to.
We have been experimenting with new ways of producing our chocolate gelato. By cooking the cocoa nibs it really infuses the cocoa with the milk cream and sugar to bring out a fantastic rich flavour.
The result in a fantastic Dark Ecuadorian Chocolate with no bitter after taste and a wonderful Belgian Chocolate with homemade cookie dough.
The overtones popped into Gelato Gusto to perform a Christmas song and send a Christmas message to all Heat Magazine readers.
We were visited by a number of 'toner' fans who were also in town for their evening performance at the Dome which was great fun. The Argus popped in to do a photo shoot. We created a bespoke version of our popular Sea Salt Caramel with a little twist for the boys as that was their favourite flavour.
